Prior to becoming CEO/President of SmithCypress Partners in May 2005, Emmitt Smith enjoyed an illustrious pro football career, which included three Super Bowl championships and the honor of being the only running back to have won a Super Bowl, the NFL MVP award, the NFL Rushing Crown and the Super Bowl MVP in one season.

As well known for his character and integrity as he is for his athletic ability, Emmitt continues to give back to the community and support higher education, currently sponsoring the college educations of several underserved children. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with Bachelors Degree in Public Relations.

Proven fast, smart and – thanks to Dancing with the Stars – smooth on his feet, Emmitt is a formidable businessman. Known to most as the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, around here he is the Smith in SmithCypress Partners: the name, the reputation and the values.
