Scott joined the company's Retail Services division in 1987. He was managing director of the Staubach Retail Services South Florida operations and established the Atlanta Southeast office in 1994.

Scott joined Cypress Equities in 2001 and serves as managing principal of the Cypress Southeast region. Scott’s development projects include Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa, AL (338,000 SF), Plantation Point in Raleigh, NC (390,000 SF), Spanish Fort Town Center in Spanish Fort, AL (834,000 SF) and Village at Leesburg in Leesburg, VA (489,000 SF).

Scott currently directs the Cypress Equities Managed Services business designed to provide clients with strategic solutions increasing the long-term value of their retail and mixed-use assets.
