MICHAEL WHEAT
Executive Vice President, Director of Leasing

Michael joined Cypress Equities in 2008 as senior director of leasing for the western portion of the US, and is now executive vice president, director of leasing. For more than 20 years, he has been in involved in all aspects of the real estate business initially focusing on landlord and tenant representation working with clients such as RTC, FDIC, GE Capital, AEW Trust, Investment Properties, Inc. and Madison Realty Group.

Michael then served as the national director of retail for Trammell Crow Company. Tenants included OshKosh, Chico's, Hollywood Video, Citibank, Zoe's Kitchen, Henredon Furniture, Natuzzi Furniture, AMC Theaters and Sears. Prior to joining Cypress Equities, Michael was a vice president of leasing at The MG Herring Group where he was responsible for the initial leasing phase of Uptown Village at Cedar Hill.
