 RUSSELL SHELTONGeneral Counsel Russell joined Cypress Equities as general counsel in January 2004. He is responsible for the oversight, coordination and management of legal issues pertaining to Cypress. Prior to joining Cypress, Russell was with the law firm of Hughes & Luce, LLP in Dallas where his practice concentrated on commercial real estate matters with an emphasis on retail real estate. Prior to joining Hughes & Luce, he was an attorney in the real estate department of J. C. Penney Company, Inc. He received a BBA degree from Baylor University in 1983 and a JD degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1985.
